Postdoctoral Scholar in Biology & Biological Engineering, Associate, HHMI

Brady Weissbourd

I received my BA from Harvard College, where I worked in Catherine Dulac’s Lab studying genomic imprinting in the brain. During my PhD at Stanford, I worked in Liqun Luo’s Lab on the anatomy and function of the dorsal raphe serotonin system in mice and with David Kingsley on whether specific deletions in the genome since our split from chimpanzees caused human-specific traits. In the Anderson Lab, I am developing a small, transparent jellyfish - Clytia hemisphaerica - as a new model organism for systems and evolutionary neuroscience.
