Adi is the Nanyang Assistant Professor of Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, and a Principal Investigator at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology, A*STAR Singapore. He received his Ph.D. in Computation and Neural Systems from Caltech in 2024 and completed postdoctoral training at Stanford and Caltech with Scott Linderman, Pietro Perona, and David J. Anderson. His research integrates machine learning with large-scale neural recordings to study how emotional states are encoded in neural circuits, with work published in Cell, Nature, and Science. Adi's contributions have been recognized with awards including the Ferguson Prize from Caltech, the Gruber International Research Prize in Neuroscience, and recognition as an NIH NeuroAI Early Career Scholar.
